Ride harshness? 850 1996

The ride is popularly considered a bit little stiff and was modified in the S/V/C70 dispensation. If YOU like the handling and road feel of your 850, then it's just fine. (Consumer Reports is constantly frothing at the lips about Volvo's "jittery" ride, but they say nothing of their favorite BMW's, which are just as jittery.)

When it comes to modifications of the suspension, most people on this board are looking to improve handling by adding things that would result in yet more stiffness: stronger sway bar, strut tower braces, 17 and 18in wheels, Bilsteins, etc.
