Considering crossing over- 850 1994

If you're even remotely considering turbo, don't consider the idea of adding one to any FWD N/A Volvo as there's WAY more to it than meets the eye (actually, the same rule applies to an older RWD Volvo as well IMO). Sure, with ALOT of $$$$, anything can be done but you'ld be much further ahead if you just start by buying the turbo car in the first place. BTW, Volvo automatics really aren't all THAT bad either IMHO and I'd take one anyday over a MT in the same car, even with a true HP car as (some) automatics can also be modified (although maybe not the 850 automatics). Volvos automatics last very long if properly maintained (ATF flushes once in a while).
