Considering crossing over- 850 1994

I made the switch to the FWD platform after many happy years in 700/900. Though I miss RWD and it's many advantages, the Volvo FWD implementation is pretty good. I have the T5 engine, which is awesome (despite torque steer), and the build quality is higher. On the downside, it's more complex so the potential problems have multiplied.

T5 (or R models in 850) should have a somewhat stiffer suspension, though there's still some roll in the turns. Try to get the 16in "turbo" wheels with it. (Make sure dealer hasn't swapped original 16's for a pair of 15's.)
