Rearview mirror snapped off. V70-XC70

The mirror on my 98 XC was always very stiff and hard to adjust. I got the same story from my dealer: "Live with it"
Last month it just snapped off and the dealer and regional rep refused to pay for it because it was out of warranty.
Replacing the mirror cost $100 for the part, and just took me a few minutes. Pry out the two reading light covers, and you will find the screws that hold on the rest of the trim. Once that is off, removing the mirror mount is very easy. The new mirror is much easier to adjust than the original ever was.

For me, this was the final straw with my dealer. I won't be back to his service department, nor to his sales department when the time comes.
