Factory Radio Code 850 1995

Hi Andrew, I just bought a 94 850 Turbo at an auction. The radio was not working because it needed the code and there was no documentation with the car at all. I called the dealer and gave them my Vin#. They gave me the code over the phone but it did not work. Apparently, the radio was not the original. I pulled the radio out using the two pop out handles (one on either side). On top of the radio was the 4 digit code written in pen. The dealer told me that a lot of remanufactured radios had the number written on top. Turns out my radio is from a 1995. The dealer also said that if the number had not been on top that there is a serial number for the radio that can be referenced. Getting the radio to work was a wonderful addition. Hope this helps you.
