What does it cost to read & reset codes? 850 1996

Just wondering what those of you out there with 850s that require the scan tool to read and reset engine codes get charged for this by a dealer. A girl in my office with a '96 850 is getting charged about $200 by Mt Kisco Volvo in NY for this. IMHO I think she should go somewhere else!

What are some of the experiences of others out there?

Note : As a '93 & '94 850 owner I may have to be patient with blinking lights but beats the heck out of paying that much!
