remote keyless won't work 850 1993

The receiver is located on passenger side between the glove box and the sidewall or on top of the steering column. The antenna is a small copper plate inside the receiver. You ought to try another remote first. You can borrow one or get one cheap on ebay. Not sure how you'd go about checking the receiver. The little light is just an indicator. The link is to an article on Ozbrick about extending the range of the remote. I tried it but couldn't tell the diff.
