rising rate fuel regulator - how do i fit it and what about the oem one already fitted?

i got a rising rate fuel regulator as part of a bsr stage 3 upgrade

there appears to be one fitted by volvo under the aluminium cover for the injectors on the fuel return line- a small module attached to the rear of the fuel bar with a pressure connection to the intake manifold

how and where do i fit the regulator - if i remove the volvo one, it seems to bolt straight on to the fuel rail rather than be connected via a hose and there would be a opening to the air for fuel to escape

anyone done this before or had it done eg by bsr etc

the one supplied is malpassi rising rate x1.2 i am told

thanks
