Car won't idle 850 1996

Guys,

Tonight I went to start the 1996 850 wagon, 132,000 miles and it wouldn't idle. If I pushed on the peddle a little bit it would run but if I took my foot off it would simply die out. I drove it around for a while and it ran fine, accelerated fine but if I took my foot off the pedal it would kill even if I was going 40 mph. Any ideas on where to start? I checked for codes and there weren't any! thanks
