S80 recommendations - pros/cons S80

I'm considering buying another Volvo - S80 (or possibly a Volvo wagon) to replace an '89 740 Turbo. I've been reasonably pleased with the 740 and am wondering what are the pros/cons of an S80.

Any input from S80 owners is appreciated (or people that wouldn't be S80 owners).
