Automatic transmission problems 850 1994

The 94 has a code box in the engine. The flashing orange light says that faults codes are being sent to the computer. |These codes are three digits long. Each code will be able to give you a hint as to what has occurred. Once you get the codes, you will know a little more about what has happened.

As far as the burnt bad tranny oil, that's a really bad problem. If it weren't changed in for such a long time, he could have physically damaged the tranny. My guess is that sensors in the tranny probably need to be replaced.

If you do a search on this site, you can find directions on how to read the codes. If not, e-mail me at ddelgado@cox.net and I'll try to write it down for you.
