Dead Cruise Control, Where should I start troubleshooting 850 1995

Good Morning,

I've got a dead cruise control on my '95 850 T5-R. It worked less than a month ago, but yesterday I discovered it won't work at all. I checked the obvious (fuses, and codes), but didn't have any codes to clear. I can't quite remember, but I thought A-5 or A-6 would give a code if the cruise hadn't reached a certain speed. Regardless, I'm not sure which diagnostic port to check, and furthermore what to do when it either gives me a code, or doesn't respond at all.

If anybody has any ideas of what to check first it would be greatly appreciated. I've got a five hour highway drive on Friday, and Cruise would be very nice...

Thanks in advance,
~Jonathan
