brake pad replacement question... 850

I would use the grease based on many reported problems of noise.

Also, when I did the pads and rotors I followed Bay 13 steps. It
really is an easy job using their instructions. Exact placement of
the grease was the only thing that was somewhat confusing (if you
grease the entire back of the pad you grease parts that don't actually
contact anything). Also, the grease burned off the brakes for a day,
or two (seeing a liitle smoke coming from the brakes was a bit alarming
but was really not a problem).

I used stock parts and did not have any squeeky brakes or noise problems.
