fuel gauge 850 1995

HAD THIS PROBLEM ON 95 850 BUT MINE WAS STUCK AT ABOUT 3/4 OF FULL TANK. IT COULD BE THE SENDING UNIT($140) OR THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (PROBABLY MUCH MORE $$)THE SENDING UNIT CAN BE TAKEN OUT FROM THE TRUNK AND TESTED FOR RESISTANCE BUT I DON'T KNOW WHOT IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE THERE.
