S80 recommendations - pros/cons S80

I own a 1999 S80, I have had the transmission replaced. I have over 50,000 miles without any other major problems. It is a T6 so I have the performance. It handles well, is very comfortable. As for the mechanic saying it is hideously complex, get over it and used to it. All cars will be this way in the future. For the mechanic: If you work at a Volvo dealership, do not bite the hand that feeds you unless you are qualified to work for a competitor, otherwise I do not know what your motivations are dissing this car.
