Squeaky Passenger Side Air Vent Actuator ( Electronic Temp Control) S70 1998

Has anyone ever had a problem with the Electronic Temp Control system on the 1998 S70-GLT ?? I know that is a LOADED QUESTION !! The particular problem, I'm having, is with the passenger side air vent actuator valve. It seems when I set a desired temperture the valve squeaks as if it is trying to open or close (HUNTING) to attain it's target temp. At times, the squeaking stops and the trouble lights flash on and off on the display. The valve will remain stuck in it's last position until I either turn the key off and on again or let it rest for several minutes and try it again. It may need to be lubricated or replaced.... Anyone have some experience with this issue ??? Thanks
