I bought micro DE lamps in europe, got a really good deal on lamp kit.
Lamps worked really good for snow and fog. The one big problem for me was the life of the lamp was only one year because of salt. The alloy that the lamps are made of had crumbled apart at the back side of the lamp, allowing water to get inside of the assembly. For salt areas you need some other type of material or you need to protect the lamp from salt to keep it from falling apart.
