Badges 850 1996

On my '97 (and I assume your '96) all rear badges are attached with adhesive. Best way I have found to remove them is to heat them up with a hair dryer, then use a piece of fishing line to "saw" through the adhesive. Once the badges are off, use your fingers (again, heating with the hair dryer helps) to remove as much adhesive as possible.

Follow up with WD-40 or Goo Off to remove the adhesive residue. Be sure and use the wax or sealant of your choice on the area where you removed the adhesive when you're finished, as you stripped all that off in the process.

I've never tried to re-attach any badges, but I would assume you can buy two-sided tape to do the trick.
