Service light question? 850 1995

I love this board and all you helpful guys!
O.K., I just received my first service light in my 6 months of owning my '95 850.(100,325 miles) I went thru what I believe to be the proper process to retrieve the fault code and to my surprise the code read 1-1-1. My understanding is that 1-1-1 is what should be read after you reset the test unit. However, now whenever I start the car I get the service lamp lighting up and then going out after about 1-2 miles of driving. It won't come back on again until I turn off the ignition and restart. Any thoughts on why this is happening? How do I turn off this constant service lamp light? Is there any actual service problem or is this just a reminder for say maybe 100,000 checkup?
Thanks in advance.
