NOT TO BUY V70-XC70

It's probably a good thing to consider consumer reports and the likes but you've got to take those things with a grain of salt. Remember, a lot of the people who respond to those things aren't happy and what they call a major problem may be minor to you and I.
I bought a '98 V70 (fwd, automatic, n/a) 2 years ago with high mileage. It's had it's problems but going into it out of Fords... you can't compare them.
