V70 Questions V70-XC70 2000

Long time 240 owner about to take over more DIY maintenance on 2000 n/a V70 SE w/40,000 miles, which we bought new.

1) Is there a PCV or flame trap setup that needs to be maintained/periodically cleaned like on the four cylinder red motor? Can't find any reference and don't yet have a repair manual.

2) This V70's factory tire spec is 195/60-15. Will need new tires soon; any positive or negative feedback on plussing up size to 205/60-15?
