update on my A/C and power drop-out problems... 850 1995

Check your fuel pump relay or just replace it. The trouble with "checking it is your problem is intermittent at this point. Once the car dies for good then it's easy to trouble shoot.
Takes a long time to dump a can. I put a hair dryer on mine to heat it up. Speeds thing up a lot. Get a pressure guage, (they're cheap at PepBoys)and stick it on the low pressure port (the one you dumped the R134 in). Check the pressure and you can get an idea if you need more freon. You may need a low pressure switch. The Motors Manuals at your library will give you the on off pressures for the switch.
Have fun.
