update on my A/C and power drop-out problems... 850 1995

I haven't seen an 850 fuel pump relay and can't find it in the Haynes manual but if it is like the relay on 200's/700's the common fix over on the RWD forum is to open it up and resolder the connections. The solder develops tiny cracks that you may or may not be able to see but that cause intermittent failures. Your symptoms match those of a failing relay on the older models, and as they say on that forum, it takes 10 minutes and doesn't cost anything. It seems I remember someone doing this on this forum but I could be mistaken.

Lots of the RWD owners carry a spare relay in the car.
