windsheild replacement 850 1995

Hi all,

I am now on my third windscrean and have had these fitted at the dealer first and then the body shop next. The second one i had to return twice for them to apply some more bond due to wind noise they blamed on ill fitting trim.

I recently was getting buffering in the top and bottom corner on the drivers side so i used bathroom sealant and that seems to have fixed it now.

I have have paid once and insurance one. Now that i have Volvo insurance in the UK there is so restriction on your policy.

A last note if you do go to a dealer they may sub-contract the work out to a glass specialist, well thats what happens over this side of the pond.

hope this helps.
