Problems Starting 850

You've gotta search for a code. I don't know what the code for a failing airmass is. Go to www.volvospeed.com and go to the maintenance link for codes.

If your car isn't storing any codes, you'll have to get it to the mechanic. I had to replace an Air mass on my 940T and the cost was $325, not including labor. Not a cheap item. I don't know what they cost is for an 850. Never did I get a "check engine" light when the switch started to fail.

the air mass meter is located at the top of the air filter box.
