Bilsteins: do they break in? 850

Sorry to break this to you but the Bilstein stiffness won't really go away. But then again, you should be used to the 850's stiff ride - it's there even with the stock shock setup. The R shocks are only a bit stiffer than stock (5 or 10 percent I think) but on the R's the 17" rims make the problem even worse. The way I see it, the ride will be stiff no matter what I do, might as well improve the handling then.
