S70 AC question S70

I have a 98 S70 and last summer the AC could not keep up when it
was over 90 degrees (this is on my daily 35 mile trip home). I
suspect it has similar problems as yours (probably a slow leak)
and I am facing a recharge on this car.

When the AC is recharged a lot of places will just automatically add
dye. Probably due to the common problems with AC on some cars. In
an earlier post I noted the local dealer is running a service
special where they evacuate, charge and add dye for $200. Its odd
that this has become a "service" item.
