acceleration w/ auto trans? 850 1993

I guess compare the weight, torque, and transmission of each. While 850 4 speed automatic acceleration is leisurely compared to the turbo 5's, I would think that it could possibly be better than a turbo 4. I have never driven a turbo 4 with 3 sp auto so I can't tell.
