Low boost 850

Anthony, Guys

I have a similar but even worser problem, in fact most of the 850's here in Thailand have it, and garages seem unable to fix the problem no matter how much you complain. (Mine has had the car for weeks already for a warranty repair on this and the A/C)

I believe the likely cause is a hose leak on the manifold side of the turbocharger. Another possible cause might be the wastegate adjustment on the turbocharger.

I would also like someone to reply re the boost guage - The halfway point (12 o'clock) position refers to no boost or vacuum - 0 bar/psi. and that full scale is 1 bar or 14.7 psi

From scanning threads on this and other boards, I believe stock boost is supposed to be 0.67 bar or approx 10 psi. This would imply the highest boost to be about 2/3 into the white area.

Can anyone confirm these figures?
