ABS hydraulic pump gets wild... 850

Hi all!

Finally thought my old Volvo would be in perfect condition after updating all shocks&lowering springs etc. but now the damn thing started indicating problems in the ABS system. The ABS-warning light doesnt stay on after starting the car but it suddenly sometimes starts the ABS-hydraulicpump in lower speed and stops the pump when I drive faster that 40km/h(appx.30miles/h). Also stepping on the brakepedal stops the pump. I checked the fault codes and there were codes indicating faults from three wheelsensors driving in low speed and also couple of faults for higher speeds and one for the control unit.
I already checked the wiring for the sensors and cleaned the sensor connectors but it didnt help at all.
Also found some information from other pages that this problem might be caused by bad wiring to sensors and replacing them might help. Has anyone done this and does it really help? I would really appreciate your comments so that I dont need to waste time for nothing while replacing the wiring. Or any other hints to solve the problem?
