graby brakes V70-XC70

I would look at those component to solve grabby brakes. If you went with a pad that had such a low coefficient friction, you'd have horrible braking, the same goes for the rotors. As for the lines and fluid, those will only make a difference under ham-footed or repeated hard braking. Under normal driving, you won't feel a difference with lines and fluid.

What you want to look into is the adjustability of the hydraulic brake system for a more linear advancement. And I am not sure this can be done, as I am not that familiar with the newest V70's braking system.
