Cruise Control Not Working!!! 850 1996

When I had my evap done, the tech improperly re-connected the plastic "thingie" that fits into the top of the accelerator pedal and controls the movement of that pedal. I hit the cruise control and I heard this crack! when it broke. Maybe your was just not re-connected at all.

I am sorry for the imprecise description, but that is one place to look.
