Thanks for all the tips guys, I'm off to buy some new blades
and a bottle of R/X. Trico are the main supplier of blades down here and I notice on their website they have a Teflon impregnated blade but unfortunately it hasn't reached Australia yet. Will keep you posted if it eventually rains.
