AC problems 850 1996

OK - I'm in the same boat as everyone else with evaporators,etc. Go thru my yearly bout of adding 134 etc. THe past 2 years however my system is acting really weird. The system will cool well for about 30 mins, but then will quit cooling and blow warm. If I shut the system down for 1-2 mins and cut it back on, it will again cool for a period of time and them blow warm again. Any thoughts on tracking this problem down?
