Tranny Flush 850 1996

Hi Rich,

I have for over 15 years, a full synthetic oil myself. With regard to the lubricating oil in the transmission. Well it does not interact with the fuel burn process as your engine oil would do, collecting soot, carbon deposits etc. Therefore no reason to get dirty from contamenents as it is for all sense and purposes a sealed unit. The only real reason to change is the viscosity propities will reduce of time, hence that like new feel.

I have a manual transmission and have been thinking of doing this myself does anybody know if its the same as an automatic procedure ? as the shop did my last flush.
