Air Bag dash light S70 1998

THe dash light popped on has stayed on for two days now. Nothing 'dramatic' lead ut to it, either, just driving along.

Just wondering before I jump into it, what the possibilites are. Could it be as simple as a faulty sensor? But more probably a fundamental problem with the device itself that needs inspection? Does anyone have experience with this for this year and model?
