Hitch for Convertible C70 2000

I have the C70 coupe and had the Volvo tow bar installed. It's fine, but you'll be limited to using the Volvo ball hitch. Do not get the Volvo wiring harness. It's not compatible with most American trailers. Depending on what you're towing, you may need a four-pin flat or 7-blade (round) harness (for pop-up campers). You may also want an electric brake controller, which a Volvo dealer won't intall (or know anything about). My suggestion is that you have any work done by a reputable shop that specializes in installing hitches and has experience installing equipment on Volvos. The Camper World near me has and I'm having them install an electronic brake controller.
