Help on questions about Struts/Shocks 850 1995

If you can do a full brake job then you can probably replace struts. You will need a Strut Spring Compressor to do it. Rent one at your local auto parts store. Be sure to grab as many spring coils as you can before you start trying to compress them, and grease the threads on the compressor too. If you don't grab enough coils then the remaining coils will just expand and keep tension on the strut. Replace the rubber spring seats too while you are at it. It's cheap insurance against having to get in there again.

Let us know how you like the Bilsteins after you put them in and drive around for a few hundred miles.
