Tranny fluid (again...) 850

My dealer did mine and put in the Mobil 1 ATF at my request.

Ask them to show you something in writing that says they are not supposed to do it, as opposed to saying that you don't need to do it. Ask your dealer if he would refuse to give you 1,000 mile oil changes since the factory recommends them only at 5,000 miles. Maybe you just spoke to some new kid who didn't know better.

You should definitely do it! The start stop method works fine. An independant transmission service shop should have a pressurized changing system.
