Alpine CD Changer in 850 Wagon 850 1997

I have a 1997 850 GLT Wagon with an SC-811 stereo. I just purchased a used Alpine CD changer (CHM-S620) that came from a Subaru. I am needing some help as to what additional cables and/or interfaces I will need to purchase. I am interested in placing the changer in the glove box for convenience.

Am I correct in assuming that a CD changer cable can be found running from the SC-811 to the cargo area of the wagon? If so, where is it located and can I use it (reroute it) for the glove box installation? Am I also correct in assuming that I will need a CD interface for my SC-811 specifically? I believe it should be the VOLIL (vs the VOLALP and why?) interface.

Then, what is the connection loop between the SC-811 and the changer? Is it the SC-811 to the CD cable to the VOLIL and the VOLIL to the CD changer? (In addition to hooking up the yellow wire from the VOLIL to a power source?) That is the information I've been able to discern up to this point - I think!!!! Any specific help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

Tahuna
