Creak creak creak in rear springs S70 2000

Hi everyone. Last month I posted my experience installing the IPD rear overload springs in my S70. The install went fine, but I ended up with a creaking coming from one of the rear springs. I tried rotating the spring 180 degrees. That didn't work. I then sprayed the base of the spring with WD40. That got rid of most of the noise, but I'm not sure if its a permanent fix.

Has anyone else experienced this? Not sure what the deal is with this. I installed 4 sets of these springs on the 240 with absolutely no problem.
