When to do an Engine Flush?

You will get a lot of opinions on this matter. I don't understand why you would flush an engine when going from syn to dino but not the other way around. An engine with syn is already "cleaner" than a dino fed engine. If I were you I would just change to syn oil and shorten the first drain interval to get rid of any loosened junk in the oil, then change your oil every 5K miles or so. Syn oil is compatible with all oils so there is no problem with that. An engine flush won't hurt and the dealer will love you for doing it!! Save your money.
