Automatic Shift Knob 850

Hey all. I have really been wanting to replace the boring automatic shift knob on my '95 850 GLT with something a little snazzier, like maybe something found here. http://www.mach3accessories.com/shiftknobs.html I have been doing some digging on this board and seems that I have heard a lot of people saying to remove the old one, all you have to do is pull up really hard, and to install the new one, all you have to do is push it down into the shaft. Is this really true? Sounds almost waay too easy and good to be true. Are there any other factors needed for consideration in replacement? Or are all aftermarket knobe compatible? Thanks for the help everyone. :)
