boost problems? 850 1996

Does it recover after this "lag" to continue build boost? If not, I'd check the pressurized hoses. Check the clamps where they connect the rubber ducting to the rigid pipes and manifold.

I guess (and it is a guess) that ignition timing could be retarding if any detonation is sensed by the ECU. Regarding your mods, what is "dp"? Down pipe?
