XC2002 Laminated Sercurity windows V70-XC70 2002

Has anyone experienced distortion in the windows on 2002 XC.
I have recently purchased this vehicle and looking through
the windows (primarily the driver & passenger fronts) there is significant amount of distortion. Similar to looking through old block windows,
This is not an issue with the 2001 XC models.

The local dealership where I purchased the car was gracious enough to replace the windows on my car with windows from a 2001 XC on his lot. I had to pay for the labor to remove/replace between the 2 cars - 4 hours. Also, the dealer stated a Volvo rep would look at the windows to determine if the glass had a manufacturing defect. If it were defective, Volvo would refund the labor costs.
Earlier this week I was informed the glass is normal.
