Faulty Door Stop S40-V40

Has anyone had a problem with their door stop on their 2001 S40? Apparently, this is a new phenomena since the service guy said he hadn't seen this problem before. The passenger door stop has come out of place and presses against the door skin creating several protruding dents to the exterior.

The list of problems I've had just continues.....
