HELP!! Antifreeze is HOT, bubbling and leaking! 850

I noticed when I was driving that when I accelerate I see a red light with a fan come on, perhaps indicating a coolant problem. I popped the hood and opened the antifreeze cap and and the coolant was so hot it was bubbling like mad, and also steam was arising. Also saw that there was some leakage on the ground. I'm taking my Volvo in for servicing soon (tomorrow), what is the problem do you guys think?
