HELP with 'Check engine light fix' recall notice S40-V40 2001

Hi Mira,
I think you just have bad luck with your dealer. My recommendation is to contact the dutch importer, which is very customer oriented and have a well equiped workshop including very skilled mechanics.
The cars in US are equiped with a feature that detects if the fuel system is gas tight. For example if the fuel cap is properly closed. This is a US unique system. Your problem might be of a different kind.
