Thanks for the tips!! S70 1998

Thanks for all the tips - it gives me a point to start from - and can rule out the Turbo for now!!

I use Suprem (91 Oct.) all the time - I buy from the same gas station. I can try a few tanks of another gas.. maybe the Ultra 94? Do I want to go up in octane or keep it the same. I don't think that I should be too concerned about fuel additives or detergents?

Anyhow - it seems to happen most often under a hard load on a warm engine - I don't punch it when cold... I drive it under 3000Rpm for a few minutes untill I see the engine temp needle climbing up. I change my oil *Synthetic* every 5000 km regardelss and see no pollution or contaminants on the dipstick.

Thanks for the tips and tricks!!

BBuzz!
