Diehard Mobil 1 User- On the Fence Now 850

OK guys and at the certain risk of bringing on another Amsoil vs. Mobil 1 discussion - I must say I am dissapointed at the new manner Mobil 1 is being marketted. Seems the marketting gurus at Mobil 1 have decided to offer a plethora of variations leaving me a bit confused.

Now I have been a loyal Mobil 1 user for about 12 or so years - but now I am getting a bit concerned about all the reformulations.

I've had a few words on these boards in the past with the Amsoil folks - but now, I am very close to switching over to Amsoil 10-30 for my beloved family vehicles.

Can anyone convince me that Mobil 1 is still the superior product it once was?
